Welcome!

Hello! My name is Ben Cook and I am the Rector of St Margaret's Church. We are a growing and lively evangelical Anglican Church in the heart of Whitnash, Leamington Spa. If you're new to the area, searching for a welcoming community, or curious about faith, we would love to welcome you!

We meet to worship together on Sundays and also on Thursdays for Holy Communion, as well as small groups, prayer meetings and courses like Alpha during the week.

For newcomers, we encourage you to simply be yourself and experience what we have to offer. We're excited to meet you and learn more about you!

Sundays

We welcome everyone to worship Jesus with us at our Sunday morning service, starting at 10am. For your first visit, we recommend arriving 10-15 minutes early to ensure you get a parking space and find somewhere to sit before the service begins. When you arrive, you will be greeted by someone on our Welcome Team.

We also worship at St Margaret's Church centre at 4pm every Sunday at a service called Connect@4.

What about my kids?

We have a great programme lined up for children:

Self service Creche.
Flames (Reception - KS1)
Rockets (KS2)

Children stay with their parent or grown-up at the start of the service for the welcome, songs and notices. We really value worshipping God all together as a family. During the service someone will announce that it’s time for the younger members to go to their various groups. You will need to go with your children to their groups and register/sign them in as part of our safeguarding policy. Whilst you are dropping your kids off at their groups, we pause to take time to chat to someone sitting near or next to us, giving folk a chance to come back before the service continues.

The kids group activities vary depending on the age but usually there is a friendly welcome, bible stories, testimonies, praying, music, craft, drama, fun games and free play. You will be asked to collect your children before the service finishes so that we can set up for refreshments after the service.

For more information about what happens in the children's work please visit the Children's Ministry page.

Small Groups

While Sundays are a great way to meet new people, it is often in smaller gatherings that you can really get to know someone. Being part of one of our small groups allows you to make new friends, and deepen your relationship with God. We have a variety of groups that meet throughout the week, some afternoons and some evenings. Check out Small Groups and see if there’s one that you could join, or we can put you in touch with a small group leader who will be more than happy to invite you along to their group.

Serving and Volunteering

Churches run on amazing volunteers and we are so grateful for the many people who help to keep the church running smoothly. We expect people to attend church regularly and for at least 6 months before starting any kind of volunteer role. If you want to get involved in the life of the church please contact the church office.

We can't wait to meet you! Please get in touch if you have any questions...
